Was an excellent godfather to Harry in Goblet of Fire, which most people tend to forget. Loyal friend to James and Lily. The parent Harry never had.

My favourite Harry Potter character is the same both in the books and in the movies. Professor Lupin. I only started reading the books after I watched ‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'. I was 8 years old and Professor Lupin intrigued me so much and, though I couldn't properly point it out at the time, I loved him for how wise he was.

I have multiple reasons why I like this character; many of them personal. But for the most part, he is the most interesting and, well…mysterious. We know so much about him, yet not really enough.
